Hi!
ha, you all probably thought, I have forgotten about the theme_clex_recs, since its been more than a year since I updated!
nope, not forgotten, just stalled, coz I am constantly being distracted by my shiny new fandoms merlin and SPN (castiel was too delicious to pass up).
anyway, lots of theme recs still lying around, and should I ever get holiday again, without my family occupying all my time, this will be updated!

meanwhile, to distract you all, here is a little list of big bang challenges from several fandoms, that I recently collected.
for those who do not know what big bangs are, they are usually fandom specific challenges for fics with a minimum of words between 15,000 and 50,000.

I started a story at the beginning of Season 6 before Clark and Lex became enemies forever and ever and when Lex and Lana cared for each other. However, I never got around to actually, you know, writing it, so I'm now officially abandoning it. It will never be written. Never be finished. Never.
I wrote the beginning, a spot in the late middle, and a spot near the end. Actually the spot at the end could have been the end if I didn't sew things up all neat and tidy. If you're curious about the abandoned wip, it's under the cut. But remember, this is all there is and all there will ever be.

for me this story is lovely and cracktastic, finished or not :D

I've decided once again to travel into WiP territory, yet this story will be quite different from the last one; however, much like Project Metropolis, I think the less I say about it the better because there will be surprises and revelations and probably a lot of emotional turbulence. The cat purred, and Lex wondered if Smallville had any instruments for registering seismic activity. With a whimsical smile he retreated to the sofa and his tempting laptop, the cat following doggedly on his heels with more pleading meows to punctuate the enthusiastic purring. Lex drained his scotch and sank down into the welcoming leather cushions. He glanced over, bemused when the cat leapt up beside of him, fumbled on the slick leather and ended up in an utterly graceless sprawl. His chuckle surprised him and he shook it off as he started the machine. It was impossible to miss the cat's twist onto its back, offering up its belly to be stroked in a way that Lex was sure would offend normal cats.

For whatever reason, the creature seemed familiar and friendly. Lex certainly wasn't about to turn out an ally against his father. Reaching over, he curled his fingers against the soft fur of the cat's belly, sharing a sly glance and grin with the animal. "Maybe I'll call you Troy, hmm?" He lowered his voice into a conspiratorial whisper. "Since you seem to be my secret weapon." Beautiful eyes on the cat and a flawless dark coat. Lex snapped himself out of it before he began contemplating a diamond studded collar like the one Mrs. Willingham kept on her toy poodle.
